Our Philosophy:
Millburn Church Early Learning Center offers a variety of preschool classes
to meet the needs of every young learner. Our classes offer a balanced curriculum
encouraging children to participate in hands-on learning opportunities while
having fun at school. Spiritual enrichment, indoor and outdoor experiences and
Christian teachers create an environment that models the highest quality early
childhood development experience for every child. We understand that your child
comes to us with unique experiences, interests and learning styles. Our goal is
to truly know your child well and use this knowledge to guide, support and motivate
him or her. We believe that good teaching requires continual professional development,
personal reflection and collaboration. We value parent involvement at every level and
encourage you to partner with us to give your child the most powerful and joyous preschool
experience possible.
Curriculum Goals:
Millburn Church Early Learning Center hopes to help children develop a positive self
esteem, learn respect for others, and sharpen pre-kindergarten skills. We hope that
each child will take pride in and derive satisfaction from his/her achievements. Our
caring and professional staff will guide them through developmentally age appropriate
activities that are rich in discovery and experience. Throughout the year Millburn Church
Early Learning Center offers a variety of enrichment activities to enhance the children’s
learning experiences. This may include, but is not limited to, field trips, special visitors,
and family events. Millburn Church Early Learning Center is a Christian based preschool.
During the year, the children will learn about God and Jesus through stories, music and play
activities. Teaching is based on Christian joy, love and understanding.
Environment:
Millburn Church Early Learning Center seeks to provide an environment that introduces young
children to a positive experience, with hands on activities that allows all children to grow
and develop at his/her own pace.

Millburn Church Early Learning Center is a non-profit Christian
preschool licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family
Services. Millburn Church Early Learning Center admits
students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the
rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or
made available to students at the school. It does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin
in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies,
scholarship program, and other school-administered programs.
Programs:
3 Year Olds T/TH 9:00-11:30am $130 month
4 Year Olds M/W/F 9:00-11:30am $170 month
Pre-Kindergarten M/T/W/TH 12:00-2:30pm $245 month
- All children enrolled in preschool must be toilet trained and must be appropriate age before September 1
- All enrolled students will need a current physical (past 6 months) and a certified copy of their birth certificate before the first day of school.
- 10% tuition discount is offered to members of Millburn Congregational UCC
Registration:
We welcome you to join in the preschool fun and look forward to serving you and your
child in a loving and friendly. We would love to give you a tour!! Tours are by appointment
only as we respect the learning environment for our current students.
Requirements:
Open registration begins Monday, January 23rd at 8am.
Registration must be done in person and no forms will be accepted early.
The non-refundable registration fee and one month’s tuition must accompany registration.
More details about program start dates will be provided upon registration.
