Church Picnic at Millenium Park

Enjoy a good old-fashioned church picnic at Millenium Park (Lindenhurst) on Sunday, July 22, starting at noon. We’ll have use of the shelter and all park facilities such as the playground, volleyball court and baseball field all day. Bring a dish to pass; meat and beverages will be provided. Please contact Pastor Jed by Tuesday, July 17 if you plan to attend.
Church Campout

On Saturday, June 9, bring your tent and sleeping bags and camp out under the stars on our beautiful church grounds. Set-up starts about 7 p.m. We’ll have smores, popcorn, a movie and other campfire goodies. Sunday morning there will be a pancake breakfast and a short commute to church!
(If you don’t want to spend the night, just come for the evening fun.)
Vacation Bible School 2007

We are offering an exciting Vacation Bible School to be held July 23-27 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. This years program is Lift Off: Soaring to New Heights With God! This program offers fun, interactive activities that combine the world of hot air ballooning with the discovery of how to reach new heights with God. Each lesson will be supported with Bible stories, science activities, songs, crafts, games, and snacks. We are offering this weeklong camp for children between 3 years and 5th grade. We will have a Closing Celebration on Friday, July 27 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. for the entire family.
Cost for the week, including the Friday night celebration will be $25.00 per child. Parents and Caregivers who volunteer to help may enroll their children for $10.00. Please use the attached Registration form and return to Millburn Church, 19073 W. Grass Lake Rd. Lake Villa, IL 60046 by June 1.

Summer Worship Begins

Summer Worship begins May 27. We’ll be worshiping at 9:00 a.m. in the Great Room of the new wing every Sunday through September 9. We will offer children’s time and Sunday School programming every week except the first Sunday of each month, when we’ll celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Nursery care will be available each week.
