Shrove Tuesday Supper

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
Join us on February 20 at 6:00 p.m. as we celebrate Mardi Gras and the beginning of Lent with pancakes, waffles and all the sweet toppings ($4 per person).
After supper, stop at the craft tables for a time of fun fellowship and reflection as we prepare for the Lenten season.
A sign-up sheet is posted outside the former church office.
Ash Wednesday Service

On February 21, at 7 p.m., we begin our Lenten Journey with a solemn Ash Wednesday service in the sanctuary. The service will feature the imposition of ashes.
Adult Education Program for Lent

This year’s Lenten education forum is based on Walter Brueggemann’s new program, “Countering Pharaoh’s Production-Consumption Society Today.” We’ll meet on consecutive Thursdays, March 1, 8, 15 and 22, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., in the Adult Education Classroom. It’s that time of the year again! Let the Senior High Youth Group make your Super Bowl party planning easier.
Watch for the sign-up table in Lauren Hall to place your sandwich order. All proceeds will support the Youth Mission Trip 2007.

We’re on a Mission:
* To find a deeper relationship with God.
* To become more aware of the needs of others and more grateful for what we have here at home.
* To discover how God can work through us to enrich the lives of others.
* To develop a better understanding of who Jesus is and what it means to follow him.
* To experience how God can love others through us.
Here’s what we’re doing:
* We’re going on Millburn Church’s first-ever youth mission trip. On June 16, 2007, we’re heading for the Rosebud Indian Reservation in Mission, South Dakota. We’ll be working on various maintenance projects and teaching the Vacation Bible School curriculum to the children on the reservation. We will return on June 23 with a lot of stories about spiritual transformation and how we grew as Christian disciples.
*Thank you for all of your generous help so far! You have helped us raise over $10,000 for our mission trip!! Now we have all we need to become the hands and feet of Christ and complete our mission!
Bulls-Bucks Game

We have reserved 90 tickets for the Sunday, March 4 game between the Bucks and Bulls, which will be played at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. We’ll leave immediately after the 10:00 service for the afternoon game (2:00). Cost is $25 per person, including transportation. Bring a lunch for the bus trip or purchase food at the arena. The Bucks have invited all of us courtside to shoot free throws before the game (how fun is that?!). The sign-up sheet is posted in Lauren Hall. Join us for fun and fellowship!
Ski Trip, Wilmot Mountain

The Parish Life Committee is organizing a Ski Group for all ages. We have reserved the first Saturday in January, February and March from 3:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at Wilmot Mountain.
